Nintendo Wii U Hits North American Shelves November 18

Nintendo has unleashed a torrent of Nintedno Wii-U launch details today at their press event today in New York. At the time of this article here is what we know.

The Wii-U will be available in two different console configurations. The Deluxe Set model with a 32 GB of memory and a Basic Set version with 8 GB. The deluxe set comes in black and will cost $349.99 and the white basic set will cost $299.99. The system will be completely backwards compatible with the whole of Nintendo's past titles.

The Deluxe bundle includes a 32GB built in flash-memory, a Wii U GamePad, a GamePad stylus, GamePad charging stand, GamePad playing stand, a Wii U stand, an HDMI cable, and AC adapters for the console and controller.

The Basic Set will only have 8GB of memory and will ship sans the GamePad charging stand, GamePad playing stand, and Wii U stand.
