Facebook insiders, Dustin Moskovitz and Peter Thiel have not hesitated to sell some of their Facebook shares once the opportunity presented itself, but CEO Mark Zuckerberg is holding out. In a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission the CEO of Facebook said he has "no intention" to sell any of his Facebook shares for the next year.

“Mark Zuckerberg… has informed us that he has no intention to conduct any sale transactions in our securities for at least 12 months,” said the the SEC.

Even though his colleagues have not been able to hold out, this stance to not sell is a great move by Zuckerberg. The stock has had many downs recently but investors would get the wrong impression if the founder and CEO decided to sell some of his shares. Maybe this strategic move by Mark can help get Facebook's stock out of the gutter.
