Kasia Rivera has been charged with reckless manslaughter after injecting silicone into Justin Street's penis (at his behest), causing him to die of a silicone embolism.
Rivera had advertised a penile enlargement procedure via fliers in New Jersey, and Justin Street was apparently interested in enlisting her services. He went to Rivera's apartment, where she performs the amateur procedure (which, in retrospect, probably should have been a serious warning sign), and although she had no prior medical training (duh), he allowed her to deliver the fatal injection.
Dr. Daniel Elliott at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, stated that there is no medical justification for believing that a silicone injection would be effective.
Not letting a random person inject you with a syringe full of a foreign material is Penis Safety 101.
