Country singer LeAnn Rimes was recently embroiled in a full blown Twitter war. Who was she arguing with? Was it Lindsay Lohan? Maybe Kim Kardashian? No, it was a high school teacher from California.
After the social media warfare, the teacher, Kimberly Smiley, decided to unfollow Rimes. Rimes, who apparently wasn't done, tracked down the teacher's phone number and then proceeded to call her at home, where the cyber smackdown then escalated into a war of actual words.
Smiley, who recorded the phone conversation, is now being sued by Rimes in an invasion of privacy lawsuit, although it was admittedly Rimes who instigated the bizarrely intrusive phone call.
Just a strange story on all accounts.
