Lana Del Rey's look is timeless and she constantly proves that with magazine covers that seem like back issues from the 60s and 70s. For proof, just take a look at her most recent shoot for VogueAustralia's "Fashion & Music" issue.

Inside the mag, the 26-year-old soulful singer discusses making a leap into film and her current work as a screenwriter.

"Hopefully I will branch into film work and stay there. That will be my happy place. I’d like to stay in one place for a long time," Del Rey tells Vogue. "I said everything I needed to say before I wrote this record. I don’t even talk that much. God, talking in interviews is the most I’ve talked in years."

We can see the self-professed "gangster Nancy Sinatra" making an easy transition onto the big screen given her inherent old Hollywood glam persona. But admittedly, we still haven't had enough of her crooning and contemplative downtempo music.

Here's to hoping she'll actually pull a Nancy and try to balance both.
