According to Vulture, the creator of Sons of Anarchy, Kurt Sutter, is working on a brand-new comedy series at FX. Titled Diva. Clown. Killer. the show will revolve around a washed-up ‘80s rock star and her son, who is a party clown that moonlights as an assassin. The site is reporting that Sutter’s wife, Katy Sagal, could play the clown assassin’s mother if her schedule on Sons of Anarchy allows her to.
So far, Sutter has signed on to work on the script for the pilot, but nothing else has been confirmed at the moment. Along with shows like Wilfred and Louie, this series would mark yet another offbeat comedy for FX, which is slowly making a name for itself as one of the more experimental and acclaimed cable networks.
