Kingston HyperX 10-Year Anniversary "StarCraft II" Tournament Offers $15,000 in Cash Prizes

In honor of the ten year anniversary of HyperX, the leading manufacturer of PC memory products, HyperX and Kingston Technology will be holding a free online Starcraft II tournament. With $15,000 in prizes up for grabs, only the best of the best will be crowned champions.

The tournament is open to professional and amateur gamers from around the world. They will compete online with the goal of qualifying for the live finals in Las Vegas, NV. during the International CES 2013 in January.

The tournament registration is open to anyone; it starts on September 17, 2012 and closes September 27, 2012. The online competition will be held on October 1 through November 30, 2012. The live final will be held on January 7 and 8 during International CES 2013. The first place winner and HyperX Champion will receive $7,000 USD, second place wins $4,500 USD, third place wins $2,500 and fourth place wins $1,000 USD.
