In a statement sure to make the Tumblr-user masses happy, J.K. Rowling revealed to the BBCthat she's been muling over a return to the Harry Potter universe that made her a household name. According to her, as the books were released so quickly after each other, she was forced to wrap up "a couple" before they were completely finished in order to make deadline with her publishers.
"I had to write on the run and there were times when it was really tough...and I read them, and I think 'Oh God, maybe I'll go back and do a director's cut', I don't know," she said, later adding, "I don't want to go mechanically back into that world and pick up a load of odds and ends and glue them together and say, 'Here we go, we can sell this,' but if I did have a great idea for something else, I probably would do it."
As for other projects, Rowling's new book geared towards adults, A Casual Vacancy, is due out tomorrow.
