Jessica Simpson probably put on a few more pounds than she'd planned while she was pregnant with her daugher Maxwell Drew Johnson. After giving birth in May, she was tasked with dropping some of that weight.
"I just had a lot of pressure on me to lose the baby weight," Simpson told Katie Couric on her show yesterday. "Today was one of my goals: getting here, feeling comfortable. I feel beautiful today!"
Simpson said she'd managed to knock 40 pounds off.
"All the weight did not come off with the baby!" she said. "I really have to separate myself from the world's expectations and really just look inside myself and be healthy with myself."
To that end, she revealed her first commercial for Weight Watchers, which seemed to hammer home the point. She's set to earn $3 million in a deal with the brand, should she meet a certain weight goal.
That's pretty good inspiration to get on a treadmill, if you ask us.
