According to The Hollywood Reporter, Warner Bros. has hired former SNL star, Jenny Slate, to write a Looney Tunes reboot movie for the studio. The project will be a combination of CGI and live-action similar to what Sony did with the Smurfs movie in recent years.

The Looney Tunes have been on the big screen before in Space Jam and Looney Tunes: Back in Action, but this will likely bring the characters to life for a new generation of audiences in the same way that 2011's The Muppets did. It isn’t known which characters will appear in the movie, but we’re sure classics like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig will be in it.
