The Verge thinks so, citing a video of the Lumia 920 where it seemed to be running Instagram. But Venture Beat has now countered that report, saying it's spoken to someone at Instagram who says the company has now Windows Phone app in the works. So who's right?

Well, we don't know for sure. But it's possible both are. While Instagram may not be building a Windows Phone app itself, as The Verge points out, that doesn't mean that Microsoft (or someone else for that matter) hasn't been working on its own version of Instagram with the company's permission. Apple built its own YouTube app, after all, and Windows Phone already features Microsoft-made versions of Facebook and Twitter.
