Feeling threatened by a one-armed, one-legged, wheelchair-bound man's metal object, a Houston, TX police officer shot and killed the amputee. Sadly, that metal object was only a pen.

Officer Matthew Jacob Marin and his partner responded to a call at a group home at 2:30 a.m., and upon arriving in the small house, Marin says he became trapped by the man, who was waving the pen.

The victim, who had been at the home for eighteen months, lost his limbs after being hit by a train.
