The Half-Life remake known as Black Mesa is coming out on Friday, after eight years of development. After so many delays and false starts, it seemed unlikely that this day would ever come, but barring the end of the world, we think it might actually happen this time.
The original Half-Life has been remade (almost) in its entirety (the version coming Friday only goes up to the "Lambda Core" section) with graphics, animations and effects akin to Half-Life 2. Based on the screenshots the Black Mesa Modification Team just released, we'd say it's going to be incredible.
