After trying to domesticate Tony Stark in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Avengers, and the upcoming Iron Man 3 as Pepper Potts, Gwyneth Paltrow doesn’t seem too eager to return to the role in Marvel’s upcoming Avengers 2. When E! asked her about returning to the part, Paltrow said, "I don't know. I'm getting old for this shit, you know what I mean?"
With all of the intergalactic threats and gamma-powered monsters running around, Paltrow isn’t a necessary cog in the Avengers films; however, if Robert Downey Jr. continues to star in solo Iron Man films after the third entry, her absence would definitely be felt. Then again, we’re sure Stark could pick up another girl or two.
