Here's another show to add to your DVR list come next year: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Guillermo del Toro is has signed on to executive produce and direct an upcoming Hitchcockian HBO series based on Corinne May Botz's book, Nutshell Studies, which follows a 1950's housewife who becomes obsessed with solving crime. Additionally, Southland writer Sara Gran has signed on to pen the script and co-executive produce. Botz is set to consult.

This project comes in addition to the potential live-action Hulk series that del Toro has been developing for ABC, as well as the upcoming Idris Elba- Charlie Day-starring film, Pacific Rim.
