There's only way to explain this incident: It happened in Florida.
42-year-old Michael Jones was arrested in Sanford, FL last week for allegedly beating his live-in girlfriend with her own dog. The two got into an argument, and when the woman attempted to drive off, Jones grabbed her dog and started swinging it in the air like some sort of medieval weapon before attacking her with the pooch.
Following that assault, he choked the woman before escaping on a bike with the dog. Police would later catch up to him and arrest him for domestic battery by strangulation, criminal mischief, and animal cruelty. Though the woman was left with marks on her neck, neither she nor the dog were seriously injured.
This is the second time a man has used his girlfriend's dog to beat her in the past two months.
