When's Grand Theft Auto V coming out? That's one of the biggest questions right now, and the above "leaked" image supposedly answered it with an inconspicuous "Q4 2012" in the bottom-left corner. But could GTA V really be dropping before Christmas?
Survey says, "No," as CVG has been informed (though they don't say by whom) that the image is indeed a doctored hoax. However, that information may not have come directly from Rockstar, as the developer even released the following statement in July:
"There is going to be no shortage of non-stop hoaxes, faked footage and screens, rampant rumours and speculation," Rockstar said. "As a rule, we are not going to get into the game of confirming or denying each of these as they happen as there is simply too much of it. Half of them we don't even understand."
So who knows? Of course, if Grand Theft Auto V really was going to launch before the end of the year, Rockstar's running out of windows to announce it. When do you think GTA V will be released?
