20-year-old Catarina Migliorini of Santa Catarina is selling her virginity for a one-time airplane romp. As tasteless as that sounds, she's actually willing to do something good with the proceeds. Migliorini says she will donate a portion of the money to fund housing for poor families in her hometown. The auction ends on Oct. 15, and so far, Internet bidding has hit $160,000.
Migliorini wants it to be known that she believes in love and is not a whore at all, because a one-time occurrence does not constitute as a "profession" in her eyes. But the Daily Mail reports that Migliorini is doing this for an Australian film project titled Virgins Wanted. In addition to $20,000, she gets a 90 percent cut of the auction price.
Seems like everyone—and everything—has a price.
