Who needs historical accuracy when you've got Assassins? The latest trailer for Assassin's Creed 3 tells the familiar tale of the Boston Tea Party, when British colonists in America threw hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of imported tea into the Boston Harbor in a show of defiance to British rule.
But as with anything in the Assassin's Creed series, there's more at play there than history would suggest, and the Assassins and Templars of course had a hand in shaping that Tea Party.
