During a television interview last week, 83-year-old Eva Halpain was explaining her dismay over a fallen tree destroying her house when a naked man suddenly emerged from the woods during the broadcast. The random act of nudity was captured by Arkansas NBC affiliate KARK following a weekend storm in Saline County.
After checking to make sure he didn't know the man, Halpain's son, Jim, called 911. The man was identified as 22-year-old Nathaniel Koba, whose decision to strip naked and be amongst nature was allegedly inspired by liquor and drugs. Wisely, a deputy put a pair of gloves on before placing the handcuffs on Koba.
Koba was charged with indecent exposure and public intoxication, but did not commit any vulgar acts. Sounds like a not-so-simple case of a night that just got a little out of hand.
