We all know that that sex sells, but Adele doesn't plan on following the trend any time soon. The singer blasted pop stars like Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Katy Perry, who use their own sex appeal to sell their records.
“They don’t look how they do in magazines or videos,” Adele tells The Daily Star. “I have seen them up close. They don’t even look like that. Exploiting yourself sexually is not a good look. I don’t find it encouraging.”
So how does Adele plan to get her music heard exactly? She plans on just being herself and not stripping down any time in the future.
The singer added, “To sell more records I don’t even need to do that. I just stand there and sing. No matter what you look like, the key is to be happy with yourself."
