If you've ever wanted to see a semi-autobiographical single-camera comedy series from Ben Stiller, hey, it's your lucky day! According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC has picked up a series that is just that from the actor though his production company Red Hour Productions.
The series, tentatively titled Please Knock, is being described as "loosely based" on Stiller's life, as it follows an A-list actor named Mitch Fuller who "realizes he's losing touch with reality and his family who moves back to the same New York building he grew up in -- where his parents still reside." Kevin Napier, who wrote the 2006 Fox pilot The Station, is set to pen the script and executive produce with Stiller, Stuart Cornfeld, and Debbie Liebling.
