From time to time, Google uses its Street View technology to give ordinary Internet plebes an insider's view of places they might otherwise never get a chance to see. Previously there was the track at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and then Stonehenge and Versailles via the World Wonders Project. Now Google's army of Street View photographers have crashed the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.

Partnering with NASA, the Street View team have created their largest gallery of images for a single location ever. You can click through to visit the mission control center, the shuttle and satelite assembly building and even the launch pad. Take a peek at the historic facility by going here.
