AMC and social games developer Rockyou launched a new The Walking Dead game today, and it's not an episodic action-adventure game or a first-person shooter from the makers of Call of Duty.
Nope, this one's called The Walking Dead Social Game and it's a Facebook-exclusive title meant to bring friends together as they engage in the age-old pastime of zombie-slaying. The description sent out with the announcement is pretty sparse with the details:
"Fans of the show can now step into the zombie-filled world, fighting for their lives and helping friends survive in the social game. This is an example of how big Hollywood brands are entering the social gaming world to offer fans a deeper connection to the series on a new platform."
