This is why you should avoid bringing guns to a meal. Senator Boonsong Kowawisarat has been accused of accidentally killing his personal secretary with a submachine gun while they waited for the meal at a restaurant in the province of Phrae. For whatever reason, the  55-year-old politician pointed his loaded 9mm Uzi on 46-year-old Chanakarn Detkard and it discharged, striking her once in the stomach.

Because he's a member of parliament, he hasn't been charged. Police say he will eventually be charged with death by negligence, which is punishable by up to 10 years in prison. What do you need a loaded Uzi for at a restaurant?
