On Tuesday, news broke that the home of Steve Jobs was burglarized. More than $60,000 worth of computer and personal items were reportedly stolen. One of those items was an iPad that belonged to the Apple co-founder. How do we know this? Because the stolen iPad found its way into the hands of a Bay Area clown.
Kenneth Kahn, whose stage name is Kenny the Clown, said he was given the iPad by the alleged burglar, Kariem McFarlin. Kahn, who has known McFarlin for over 10 years, said he thought the iPad was just an old device that McFarlin was handing down to him, and had no knowledge of the theft. Happy to have an iPad, Kenny loaded it with music and used it in his clown routine.
Once Kahn found out where McFarlin got the iPad from, he turned it over to police. "It would be like getting a football from Joe Montana that was stolen out of his house," said Kahn.
