Just as rumors were starting to surface that Warner Brothers was eyeing director Ben Affleck to helm a Justice League movie, Deadline is now reporting that he won't be taking the job. According to the site, reps for the director are denying the reports and saying Affleck will not be involved in the movie at this point. Sources did tell the site that he might be willing to hold a meeting with Warner Brothers at the very least, though.
Again, the studio is probably eyeing dozens of potential directors at this point and it's logical that Affleck would be one of them. He's a budding filmmaker in Hollywood and has worked with the studio before. Until the studio comes out with an official press release revealing its choice, we can expect countless Justice League rumors to pop up. At this point all we can do now is wait.
