Shooter Arrested at Texas A&M University

Texas A&M University has issued a statement saying that police have taken a shooter into custody near its campus in College Station, TX. According to police spokeswoman Rhonda Seaton, multiple people have been shot, including law enforcement officials, but offered no details on the severity of the injuries.

Around 12:30, the university issued an alert on its website that there was an active shooter near Kyle Field, the school's football stadium. Seaton said the shooting occured arond 12:45 p.m. within a block or two of campus.
