With Windows 8 just around the corner, Samsung isn't wasting any time debuting a new line of desktop PCs tailor made for the all-new operating system. The Series 7 and Series 5 PCs, announced today, are a pair of multi-touch-capable all-in-ones that look as next-gen on the outside as the software that will run inside.

The Series 7 comes in two flavors, a 23.6-inch model and a 27-inch model that will retail for $1,099 and $1,699 respectively. Both are 1080p and support the full array of touch gestures enabled by the new Windows 8 UI. Both also feature 1 TB hard drives and an optical DVD drive. The 27-inch model has an Intel Core i7 processor and 8 GB of RAM, while the 23.6-inch comes with a Core i5 processor and 6 GB of RAM.

The Series 5 is a lower cost model geared more toward kitchen use. It stands on four spider legs between which you can easily store the keyboard and mouse when not in use. It also has a smaller 21-inch display, an Intel Core i3 processor, 500 GB hard drive and 4GB of RAM. The Series 5 will retail for just $749.

Both the Series 7 and Series 5 will be available for sale on October 26, the same day Windows 8 launches.
