After his staggering success at this year’s Olympics propelled him into the pop-culture spotlight, swimmer Ryan Lochte has signed on to guest star on an episode of The CW’s 90210 this October. As you would expect, Lochte will be playing himself on the show and will appear at the same resort where characters Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Max (Josh Zuckerman) are staying.
"When we found out Ryan Lochte was going to be in town and might appear on 90210, we felt like we'd won a gold medal! Team USA are all-stars in our book, and we're so excited he's making an appearance on the show. We only wish the episode was a surf event so we could have gotten him in the water, but he deserves a little rest on dry land,” executive producers Patti Carr and Lara Olsen said in a joint statement regarding the announcement.
Lochte is also rumored to be up for parts on Dancing with the Stars and The Bachelor. We don’t care what shows he’s on just as long as the grill stays at home.
