Apple news site iMore, the first site to report that new iPhone would sport a small, space-saving dock connector, is now reporting that in addition to the new iPhone, all the other iOS devices—iPad, iPod Touch—will be converted to the new 19-pin connector.

None

Late last month, Reuters reported that it had confirmed that the next iPhone will lose the 30-pin connector used since the first iPod in favor of a smaller, space-saving 19-pin connector. If true, we assumed the entire line of Apple's iOS devices would make the jump, but we didn't expect it to happen so soon. We thought Apple would at least wait until the next version of each product before switching to the new dock connector.

According to iMore, "Apple believes consistent Dock connectors across the line, and other improvements they're able to make to the new iPad this point, are more important than sticking to yearly release schedules."
