Police in Upper Darby, PA, are at a loss as they try to figure out how the state of Pennsylvania let a convicted sex offender list a children's playground as his home address. 30-year-old Steven Sherlock was arrested in 2002 for assaulting a 13-year-old girl below a Ferris wheel back in 2002. Following his conviction, he served four years in prison.
According to the Philadelphia Daily News, Sherlock registered himself as homeless, with his address as Naylor's Run Park, where children come with their families day in and day out. State authorities defended themselves, saying that they didn't permit Sherlock to live there, but the homeless are allowed to name public places as their homes.
