A $70,000 receipt was posted on Reddit, and the poster claimed that it was from 15 Olympic officials going clean off during a recent outing. The person deleted their account, but after noticing that massive bottle of Hennessy, Gawker decided that the restaurant had to be the China Tang in the Dorchester hotel.
They called to confirm and were told that the restaurant "probably" hosted group because Olympic officials had been in and out of the place over the past couple of weeks, but the hostess wasn't certain. Still, that's pretty damn remarkable.
