This doesn't make any damn sense.

This makes zero sense. Oklahoma's Prague High School is withholding the diploma of class valedictorian Kaitlin Nootbar, all because she said "hell" during her graduation speech. What's even more puzzling is that it was used to explain her indecision over career choices as graduation approached. Nootbar says she was constantly asked what she wanted to do with her life, and said "How the hell do I know? I've changed my mind so many times" in her speech. So offensive, right?

The truly obnoxious fact is that the school showed no indication that they disapproved of her comments at the time. It wasn't until she went to pick up her diploma and was told she would only receive it if she crafted a formal apology. Nootbar refused (as she should have), and her family is standing behind her.

This is the class valedictorian we're talking about, a student with a 4.0 GPA. Nobody should be granted special treatment, but saying the world "hell" within a reasonable context during your graduation speech isn't out of line at all. That's some damn hell-ass bullshit if you ask us.
