Modern Warfare 3's season of downloadable content is drawing to a close with two packs on August 9 and Sept. 6.

The "Chaos Pack" arriving August 9 brings four brand new Spec Ops Missions (Vertigo, Arctic Recon, Light 'Em Up and Special Delivery) and three Face Off levels (Vortex, U-Turn and Intersection). It also features a new Spec Ops Chaos Mode for the Resistance, Village, Underground and Dome maps that "demands players to outlast waves of enemies, while chaining kills on maps littered in power-ups to achieve the highest possible score."

The final MW 3 DLC of the season, "Final Assault," comes Sept. 6. with five new multiplayer maps: the forgotten mining town Gulch, the Jersey Shore's Boardwalk, a collection of oil rigs known as Offshore, a maze of rotting ocean liners called Decommission, and war-torn New Orleans' French Quarter, here called Parish.

Both packs drop on Xbox 360 first for $14.99 (or 1200 Space Bucks). Activision promises that they'll arrive on PS3 and PC "shortly thereafter." As always, Call of Duty Elite members get the content even earlier, so watch out for those.

The whole DLC season has delivered over 29 new chunks of content, including multiplayer maps, Spec Ops levels, and new game modes. Have you been keeping up with all the new content? Thankful for your Elite subscription now? Tell us in the comments or on Twitter.
