It's truly unfortunate that after millions were spent to renovate McCarren Park Pool, it's been having such nasty issues lately. The pool was shut down for over 24 hours due to a diarrhea incident over the weekend, and it was shut down yet again yesterday after vomit was spotted in the pool. The pool was closed for about 40 minutes as the sanitation department cleaned up the mess thoroughly enough for reopening.
