A masked man armed with a 3-foot-long samurai sword was shot to death by a Dairy Queen employee in Las Vegas after allegedly attempting to rob the restaurant yesterday afternoon. The suspect was shot twice by the clerk around 12:15 p.m., and thankfully, there were no customers present.

The suspect was not immediately identified by police, and was later pronounced dead after being taken to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. At the moment, it's still unclear why the clerk had access to a firearm, or if it was registered. Still, the employee is not expected to be charged.
