A fan-created Mass Effect game has recently surfaced, and it looks to be all types of amazing. Finding Shepard follows directly after the events of Mass Effect 3 and was created by an Adventure Game Studio forums user named Nightfable.
The game is a point and click 2-D adventure game that lends itself surprisingly well to the Mass Effect universe. The game follows Jack as he tries to find Commander Shepard after one of the possible conclusions of Mass Effect 3.
Is what we are seeing the birth of some kind of home-brew fan-fiction? Something that allows people to keep exploring a world long after the 'official' narrative has ended. Fascinating and just really, really cool.
