Judge says Apple's "Smoking Crack" for Bringing in Too Many Witnesses

Apple reassures judge that it's not smoking crack.

It looks as if the Apple and Samsung patent case is starting to affect everyone involved. Earlier today U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh snapped on Apple's lawyer Bill Lee after he and his team attempted to book a large number of witnesses at the last minute.

With time running out, Apple requested to book 20 more witnesses to go against statements and allegations made by Samsung over the past few days. Koh was not having it.

"I am not going to be running around trying to get 75 pages of briefings for people who are not going to be testifying," Koh told Lee. "I mean come on. 75 pages! 75 pages! You want me to do an order on 75 pages, (and) unless you're smoking crack, you know these witnesses aren't going to be called when you have less than four hours."

What do you say to that? Hopefully something as awesome and apropos as what Lee said flatly in response: "Your honor, I can assure you, I'm not smoking crack."
