Hope you like Anger Management, 'cause apparently, it's going to be around for a while. Vulture is reporting that the Charlie Sheen-starring series has been picked up by network FX for 90 more episodes, after high ratings and a substantial amount of buzz surrounding it.
But why so many episodes? Apparently, Anger Management had a strange deal with FX, to the tune of a 100-episode pickup should ratings for the first ten episodes hit a certain threshold. Though numbers dropped a bit from the few episodes, the series is still pulling in more than 4 million viewers a week, making it more or less a success for cable television and putting ratings well above expectations. We'll spare you guys the hashtag winning jokes.
What do you guys think of this pickup?
