A source confirmed that Conor Kennedy and Taylor Swift are officially dating, and now that that's in the bag, it's only a matter of time before the country music star is part of America's unofficial royal family.
She's got plenty of support already. Ethel Kennedy, the 84-year-old widow of Robert F. Kennedy and Conor's grandmother, offered her approval at a Television Critics Association panel on Wednesday in Beverly Hills, Calif.
"We should be so lucky!" Ethel said, when pressed about whether or not Swift may one day become a Kennedy. But Ethel deferred the credit of setting the two up to Conor's aunt Rory. "As for my involvement, certainly not," she said. "Rory [Kennedy] went to a concert."
Rory explained further: "I went to a concert with my two daughters and that's how it all started. She's a great friend of all of ours. She's awesome and we love her."
