Detroit is right behind Florida in terms of ratchet terror. A man shot 3-year-old Amyria Parham on Tuesday and called her a "ho," according to her mother. The man, who's in his 20s, began yelling at Amyria as she played with another girl. Her mother, Latina Edwards, tried to escape with her daughter in a van, so the man whipped out a 12-gauge shotgun and opened fire.
In the process, buckshot struck Amyria in her chest, arms, and legs. She's recovering at a hospital, and police have a suspect, but they haven't taken him into custody yet. According to Edwards, people in the neighborhood have been helping the man duck police.
