Despite already writing the main Justice League book, Geoff Johns will be launching a new Justice League of America title at DC next year, according to the company. The series will star a mixture of popular and lesser known characters like Steve Trevor, Catwoman, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, Hawkman, Vibe, Stargirl, Katana, and the new Green Lantern. Along with scripts by Johns, the series will be illustrated by David Finch.

"This is a very different kind of team book,” said Johns in a press release. “On first glance, people might think the heroes of the Justice League of America stand in the shadows of Superman, Wonder Woman and the rest of the Justice League, but Green Arrow, Katana, Martian Manhunter, the new Green Lantern, Stargirl, Vibe, Hawkman and Catwoman thrive in the shadows. They're underdogs who have everything to prove and something to lose. They're a team of unlikely heroes who will help one another discover they're as A-List as anybody -- yes, even Vibe. Though getting there won't be easy.”

Justice League of America is now the third title at DC under the Justice League umbrella, joining Justice League Dark and Justice League. Fans can expect all of these titles to crossover eventually, but we don’t know in what capacity as of yet.
