We are waiting with bated breath for the Gears of War: Judgement prequel to drop sometime in the early part of next year, but what about the possibility of a Gears FPS? The story and game design sure would lend themselves beautifully to a little FPS carnage.
"I'm a big believer in never say never." Executive producer at Epic, Rod Fergusson, told Xbox magazine. "It's all about what's interesting in the industry at the time and where fans want us to take it. We don't want to say never but it's not on the top of my mind either. We look at what makes sense and move in that direction."
Hopefully we get a chance to see something like this. Until then we will be busying ourselves with Judgement, which has a street release slated for March 19, 2013.
