Chinese doctors were forced to remove a spider that was living in a woman's ear for several days. The woman went to Changsha Central Hospital after complaining about an itch in her left ear. It turned out that the itch was a spider that had transformed her ear canal into its new crib. Doctors believed the spider found its way into her ear while her home was being renovated.
They flushed the arachnid out with saline, hoping to dislodge it without forcing it to bite her or get further into her ear. It worked.
