Chicago's Alinea Coming to New York in September

And Eleven Madison Park will head to Chicago in October.

When chefs are friends, they get to swap restaurants. Such is the case with gastro-buddies David Humm and Grant Achatz (pictured above).

On September 26, Humm's famous NYC restaurant Eleven Madison Park will become Achatz's famous Chicago spot Alinea.

For five days, patrons of Eleven Madison Park will eat meals currently served in Alinea; in October, things will flip-flop, and Chicago foodies will get a taste of Humm's cooking.

Tickets will be $495 per person, plus tax and a 20 percent service charge. Don't worry, they include wine. They aren't available for purchase yet, but once they are, they won't last.
