BioWare Vets Launch GamrCred Service to Track All Your Gaming Achievements

Including what you "play" and "say."

None

Over the course of the current console generation, we've become slightly addicted to tracking our achievements across all the games we play, whether on Xbox 360, 3DS or simply on our phones. Now veterans from Mass Effect devs BioWare and social networking platform Empire Avenue have launched a new service for that very purpose called GamrCred.

GamrCred has been dubbed the "Ultimate Rank in Games." It tracks what you play across multiple platforms, and your hours, Achievements, Trophies and more are aggregated into a ranking such as "Newbie" or "Boss."

Posts on social networks and gaming communities add further to your overall rank, and getting "respect" from your friends on GamrCred helps as well. You're then assigned a "belt" (purple, brown, black, etc.) based on your overall amount of GamrCred.

If, like us, you can't play a game unless you know it's being counted for something, check out the site and sign up for the invite-only beta. Let us know what you think in the comments or on Twitter.
