23-year-old Matthew Argintar wasn't the hero that his neighborhood deserved or needed. The New Jersey native was arrested at a local Home Depot after creating a commotion by showing up dressed in a Batman-esque costume. Wearing a "mask, cape and body armor," Argintar scared people shitless when he approached customers in the parking lot asking if they needed help. Real heroes help people carry propane tanks to their vehicles, you know.

According to witnesses, people fled to their cars as soon as they say Argintar, no doubt thinking of the shooting in Aurora, CO. Police say Argintar was unarmed, but was carrying handcuffs. He was arrested, and told authorites that he was only trying to "inspire hope."

Good intentions, bad timing.
