Bring on the tablets with convenient built-in keyboards. On the heels of Microsoft's previously announced Surface tablet, Archos has unveiled a splashy new slate of its own: the 101 XS.

Unlike Archos's previous lackluster tablets, the 101 XS was designed to be a premium product that can compete with the big boys in the field like Apple and Samsung. Like Surface, it distinguishes itself from the popular tablets made by those companies by integrating a keyboard that does triple duty as a stand and cover.

The 101 XS runs stock Android 4.0, features a 10-inch 1280 x 800 display and is super slim at just .32 inches thick. It will retail for $399 with the Coverboard and is scheduled to hit stores in November.
