Amazon.com, perhaps you've heard the name, is now no longer satisfied with being a merchant in the the digital realm, it is now a producer. Amazon announced that it will be using "Amazon Game Studios" as its' development wing for all future gaming projects.
The first game, Living Classics, is a literary themed hidden object game available via Facebook. The trailer looks like a childhood bookstore seven layer burrito. There is some Wizard of Oz, some Alice in Wonderland, and some Treasure Island thrown in for good measure. I feel like I just made my middle school English teacher very proud for spotting all of that in a 48 second trailer.
No mention has been made if they plan to develop anything for home consoles, but if anyone has the capital to make something that ambitious happen, it's Amazon.
